I Would Write A Song . . .
ÿþThere was a time,
Where I would write a song,
It would be about a bloodied rose,
Shattered dreams and unfinished symphonies.
A time when bright colours were absent,
and darkness ensued in the depths of thought.
Then as time passes,
The colour slowly returned,
Dull shades of red, purple and blue,
And then the bright greens and yellows took over,
Colour and light taking hold of my song,
Banishing any darkness that remained.
As time moves on,
The initial colour fades out,
Initial youthful brightness burning out,
Leaving not brightness but not darkness either,
So how does one write a song about monotony?

Yeah, I know I havent really been doing anything anyway, but I wont be able to do much GFX work anymore, or at least for quite sometime. You see, on Friday, I had run into a bit of bad luck when my laptop was stolen while I was at uni (-.-) it had all my GFX work ever since starting, and all the resources that I used and needed to make most of my signatures/avatars/etc.
So yeah, that wasn't all that enjoyable, but now I have my new laptop, and will most likely get around to re-downloading GIMP so I can start up again with a few works every now and then =) still a shame that I lost all of that work (-.-)
So . . . despite my earlier doom and gloom and thinking that I didn't have a chance of making it into uni, I have . . . surprisingly I got a first round offer from the uni that I applied for, for a bachelor of social science, so I'm pretty happy with that. Anyway . . . now that I have all of my uni stuff sorted out (for now) I might try and start to get back into the arty kind of thing, not that I do anything else really :P
Ok then . . . well uhh . . . then again though, I might just go along with what I have been doing lately . . . and that's just nothing other than play video games all day long xD but at least I find some kind of enjoyment
Ok . . . so got my results for my HSC, its not good, fell short of the marks that I need to get into uni by around 6, so yeah . . . that was a stab to the chest. Now im just hoping that I will be able to get enough bonus marks for choosing Newcastle Uni that it will get me accepted, so im riding pretty much all of my hopes on that, even though I know that the chances of me getting are quite slim (-.-)
If that doesnt work out . . . I really dont have a clue on what I am going to be doing for the whole of next year, I never really set out a plan B or anything like that, I was confident that I was able to get the marks that I needed . . . makin
